Jumpin' Jacks Date

On Friday we took the girls to a new activity center called Jumpin' Jacks. They have put a bunch of inflatable jumping toys into a building and covered the floor with foam tiles. It's pretty simple, but a business idea that I wish I had come up with! As you know, Maddie has an excess of energy- she was able to get most of it out in an hour and a half! I love this place now! Seriously, she was able to play so hard there that she sat through dinner at IHOP afterwards without a single problem (that's a miracle for us). Bryn stayed with Brandon most of the time, but she did get daring and jump a little bit and go down a slide. I think this is Brandon's new work out center because he ended up getting his exercise for the day too! I was able to enjoy everything from the sidelines with Emmy on a nice comfy couch.
While we were at dinner at IHOP we ran into a family that had also been at Jacks. I had been watching them at both places because they looked like they had 3 girls that were spaced as far apart as ours. I wanted to see how the parents handled them. As I watched, I noticed that mom was pretty much numb to everything that was going on- I could identify with that well! Dad was trying to wrangle the girls the best he could- Brandon could probably identify with that well also! Anyway, when we were at dinner one of their youngest daughters started to throw a temper tantrum, so they got up and left. On their way out, the mom stopped and told me that there was no way that anyone could be louder than their family! I had to laugh because, for once, my trio didn't have anyone crying or throwing a tantrum! I asked how far apart her girls were and she said that her oldest was 9 years old and the two youngest were 14 months apart. She sympathized with me for a little bit and then let me know that it is really only bad for the first 3 months---aaahh!! I have another 2 months of this to endure before I hit the numb point!!
