We started off the week by going to see our Pediatrician on Monday. He referred us to an orthopedic specialist. On Tuesday, we went to Dr. Bacon and waited a very long 1 1/2 hours to see him. He came in and talked to us for less than 1 minute. He wanted to do a "closed reduction", but said she would need to go under anesthesia in order to do this. We were scheduled at the surgical unit at UVRMC for Thursday morning at 6:30 am. By 8:30 she was out of recovery and in with us again. (That was a painful 45 minutes for us!) One thing we learned about Bryn is that she gets very aggressive when she is in pain. Once the anesthesia wore off she started punching and biting Brandon. We were soon able to calm her down, but we had to wait another hour for the doctor to come in and tell us how she did and what the plan was. He never showed up, so we were discharged. She is doing pretty well except for her bouts of aggression. I have called our pediatrician and he thinks that he can put her cast on next week so that we don't have to go back to the specialist... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Okay, it is super sad, but oh my gosh--the picture in the surgery net is classic! I've got to have a copy of that one. She looks like such a grown up. We love you girls!!
