It's My Anniversary!

Actually, yesterday was my anniversary and I just noticed today, but nonetheless, it is my 1 year anniversary since I started my blog. Anyone that knows me, can attest to the fact that I usually don't follow through with anything on a long term basis. I am really gung-ho and can work miracles in the beginning, but I get burned out easily and give up. Not my strongest quality... So, it is a miracle in itself that I have continued to update my blog for a year. I know some people use their blog as a political sounding board, advice column, teaching tool, etc. I have decided to use my blog as a scrapbook- since I don't have time to do a real one. Over the last year, I have found myself trying to do more things with my kids, taking more pictures, and remembering the details just so that I would have something to share with you. Pathetic, I know. The only problem is I am not very real when I do a new post. I always seem to put on a "happy face" when I start an entry. I could have just got done yelling at Brandon or the kids, going out for takeout (again), been watching TV for way too long when my laundry is piling up, etc. My life is not perfect and I need to improve. I guess my 1 year anniversary resolution is to "be real" in my blog. I don't want to share all our dirty laundry with you (although, the pile is growing) I do want to let you know who we really are and not hide the real stuff anymore. I have always worried about what others think about me too much, so I guess I am facing my fear. I'm jumping off the cliff now....!
