Maddie turned 8 years old yesterday. It amazes me that she is that old already! She has grown up to be a beautiful, happy girl with lots of spunk! Since she just learned how to ride her bike we got a new one that is a little bigger.
Brandon and I took her to Salt Lake in the afternoon and had lunch at Buca Di Beppo and then went to Build-A-Bear at Gateway where she created the newest member of our family- Lulu. She is the cutest little puppy and Maddie won't put her down!
In the evening we had our family over for cake and ice cream. She wanted a flag theme this year, so I had fun making hundreds of tiny stars on her cake!
In the end, she said it was the best birthday and was very thankful for all that she had! The best part was when she bumped heads with Tevy and told him she was sorry, but then she told Auntie, "My mom says now that I'm 8 I need to be responsible." WOW-she really listens!
