Like many others, I spent Wednesday night preparing food for Thursday. I came up with the great idea to make a breakfast soufflé for Thanksgiving morning since we weren't having lunch until later in the day. Brandon and I enjoyed it, and the girls picked it apart, so we had leftovers for a few days! That night I also made the famous sweet potatoes that we used to make at Lakeview for our clients. I ended up making 2 pans after Ally made a specific request for them! Honestly, these sweet potatoes should be categorized as a dessert instead of a vegetable!
In the afternoon we went to Brandon's sister's house in Riverton for dinner. I didn't get any pictures because I was trying so hard to keep my kids from destroying their china and goblets! We had a wonderful feast and enjoyed spending time with them. I even got to teach Barbara, Kayla, and Austin how to play Ticket to Ride! Brandon kicked our butts I have to let him win every once in a while so he will keep playing!
That night we ended up at my mom's house where the kids got thoroughly exhausted running and playing with their cousins!
We had a great Thanksgiving and hope you did too!
