It's shocking, but I don't have any pictures to go with this post. I was so busy having fun with friends at our party on New Year's Eve that I didn't even get my camera out!
Our family started a tradition of having a fancy seafood feast on New Year's Eve many years ago. I decided to carry that tradition on with my friends. (Sorry fam for ditching you!) Each year the meal seems to get bigger and bigger! On the menu was king crab legs, shrimp, heavenly stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, steak, chicken, cheese sticks, baked potatoes, hot poppers, lunchables for the kids, and much, much more! My New Year's resolution is to loose a considerable amount of weight (I know, cliche, but it needs to be done!), so I figured we would go out with a bang!
We played Scene It and Shout Out (which I totally sucked at!), played Wheel of Fortune on the Wii, and visited with great friends!
By midnight all 3 of my girls were sick and barely hanging in there, but I made them bang the pans anyway! It's 2 days later and they are all really sick now, which is the only reason why I'm catching up on my blog. Brandon is at the InstaCare with Emmy who has been running high fevers for the last couple days. I'm crossing my fingers that it's not Strep again. I'm really not ready to head back to work tomorrow, but life has to get back to normal sometime.
