Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Well, I have done what I thought I would when I started this thing... I don't have enough time to update it! Anyway, I'll try to go over our latest happenings.

Bryn officially turned 1 1/2 yesterday and Emmy was 2 months old yesterday. We got to celebrate the occasion by going to the pediatrician. I think Bryn cried more when the doctor was examining her than she did when the nurse gave her the shot. Poor little Emmy had to get 5 shots.

A month ago Maddie started playing basketball with a city group. They work on teaching the kids the rules and fundamentals of the game, rather than have real games. I think she was the only one on the court that was dancing instead of dribbling the ball. Brandon got to "coach" for a couple games which made her feel pretty lucky! Now that it's over, I think we can all see that Maddie won't be playing in the WNBA when she grows up... hopefully she'll be able to make a basket some day! (Brandon complains that she shoots like a girl!)

I went back to work a few weeks ago and am having a hard time juggling all that needs to be done with the family. As soon as I get home we start fixing dinner, then we do Maddie's homework, and then it's bedtime. I love bedtime! That gives us an hour or two to get things ready for the next day and to relax a little bit. Luckily we were able to get Bryn to sleep through the night and Emmy is also sleeping most of the night (for now)!

Lately I have enjoyed working on scrapbooks for the girls. Mom and I went to a class at a scrapbook store and since then I have had the scrapbooking itch. My latest endeavor was to create Emmy's birth/blessing announcements. I haven't mailed them yet, but they should be arriving soon- if not, we are going to bless her on March 2nd at 9:00. We're going to have a brunch at my mom's house afterward.

Well, that's pretty much all that has been going on in our exciting life for the past month. My new goal is to update this every month- we'll see if I can do it!
