A Date With A Beautiful Girl!

I got the chance to take Miss Maddie on a date this past Thursday. Diane and Karen gave us their tickets to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Capitol Theatre. We got dressed up and headed to SLC. We went to dinner at Macaroni Grill and then Maddie said the funniest thing- she looked out the window and asked me what the thing by the truck was. I couldn't figure out what she was talking about, so she pointed to it. It was a parking meter- so we had a quick lesson about parking in the "big" city! She thought that parking meters were a creative idea! We also had a lesson about giving money to the homeless guys that claim they didn't have food. She didn't quite understand why she couldn't stop to talk to them or give them our change. Hopefully she'll catch onto that one later! The pictures aren't that great, but you can see how happy she was! It was one of the best dates I have ever been on!
