California Trip

On Thursday morning we left for Santa Monica, California. My Grandma passed away earlier in the week, so we drove down for her funeral services. I decided that it was going to be too hard of a trip for Emmy and Bryn, so Brandon stayed home with them and I took Maddie. I am so glad she went because it was great time for us to spend together. I can't believe how much she has grown up. We had a great trip and got to see a lot of places we used to visit with Grandma, explore new places, and we spent some time with our family.

We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Monica. It was 4 blocks from the famous Santa Monica pier where we saw real paparazzi and a real LA Laker! Maddie was in heaven at the hotel.
