My Not So New Hobby

I have really enjoyed taking pictures ever since I got my new camera over a year ago, but I have just started taking pictures of other people. I have found that it's really fun and I would like to do it more. I don't want to make it a business, but if I could earn a little extra $ to go towards my hobby (I have my eye on a new lens) that would be wonderful. So as I have contemplated taking the next step to getting the word out there I have thought about what I would want to offer to people. I would like to offer affordable family, individual, etc. pictures that capture every day moments without the stress of having to make everyone look 100% beautiful and happy.... Because we all know that real life doesn't end up that way! Here are some of my favorites:

On Saturday I got to take pictures of one of the most beautiful girls ever... my niece, Kayla!

Her eyes are incredible!

A few weeks ago my friend from work let me take pictures of her cute little family.

Nora was so happy and it was so much fun to capture her smiles!

Pets have proven a little more difficult to take pictures of, but I'm still game to try! (By the way, there are 2 of these adorable little guys for sale right now!)

I loved taking Tilly's baptism pictures. She looked so sweet and innocent!

So, if you are having that inkling to get your pictures taken I would love to give it a shot. I'm not a pro, but I can definitely say that I put everything I have into it. I am still learning photo shop and all the fun little tricks you can do with it, so I can edit the pictures as well. (If anyone out there has pointers send them my way!)

For approximately 1 hour at a location that is close to where I am (Utah County) the price would be $50. I usually end up with 40-60 pictures that I will put on a disk for you to use any way you would like. I will also include an 8x10 print and five 4x6 prints in that price. I am completely negotiable with any of this, so if you have special needs just let me know and I will try to work with you. If you're interested please leave a comment and I will get in contact with you.
