This morning the cruise director woke us up at 7:30 to let
us know that we were in front of the glacier and wouldn’t be there for too
long. We decided to drag ourselves out of bed and check it out. We weren’t able
to get very close because of the ice sheets, but it was still beautiful. There
were seals laying on the ice, but were weren’t close enough to see them very
well. We are supposed to see the rest of Tracy Arm Fjord today, but for now I’m
hanging out in the solarium by the pool trying to get a little rest. It seems weird
that our cruise will be over in a few short days. I’m ready to be home and see
the kids though.
Well, there wasn't any more of Tracy Arm Fjord. Note to anyone going to Alaska: go on the Glacier Bay cruise. I guess you get to see a lot more. Oh, and it's another day at sea and I'm sick again. Spending the afternoon in the solarium, but it's pretty chilly!
