California- Marina Del Rey

After the funeral we drove through Santa Monica to Fisherman's Village at Marina Del Rey.

I have great memories of visiting the wharf when I was little because that's where we used to get all our souvenirs when we would visit Grandma. All the little shops have closed now, but we still enjoyed strolling down the boardwalk!

As we were walking we could hear the sea lions in the harbor. Maddie started barking back to them and 4 swam up to the dock nearest us. You can see one out by the pelicans in this picture:

We ate dinner at El Torro and watched the fog finally roll out after a very humid, overcast day! After dinner we drove to Aunt Marilyn's for the rest of our trip.
