This is Miss Sadie Belle. She's the newest girl to take over our home and grace the neighborhood. I had promised Brandon a long time ago that he could get a dog as soon as we bought a house, so he didn't let any grass grow under his feet (literally, you should see our back yard). Over a month ago we went and picked Sadie out and surprised the girls with her a couple weeks ago. She is now 10 weeks old and has almost doubled in size. Brandon has taken the role of Alpha Male very seriously and is convinced that he is going to have the "perfect" golden retriever. Our DVR is full of Caesar Milan shows! She is already doing well with potty training and is in the house most of the time. (I will be happy when she can go in the back yard though!)
A funny thing about her name is that our new babysitter is also Saedi. We had picked out the dog and named her before we met the human Saedi and it just didn't seem right to change her name. Babysitter Saedi found out that we had a dog Sadie after Bryn said that Sadie bit her. Human Saedi knew she didn't bite her, so she figured out that we had a new puppy! (It was funnier than it sounds in writing, but I had to share anyway!)
We love both of our new Sadie's/Saedi's and are glad that we they are in our lives!
