I don't know how you feel, but I love technology. I love to figure out new things on the computer, mess with my smart phone, and I can even program the TV remote. But, when technology fails me I hate it! I feel like I have been a huge magnet over the past few months that wipes out all of my computers and my phone. My home PC hard drive crashed with all my pictures on it from when the last two girls were born. DEVASTATING! Luckily, I had backed them up on an external hard drive, but when I got into that they were gone from there as well. Ugh- you know that feeling- the pit in your stomach in fear that you have lost something so precious and may never get it back. Okay- compose myself and move on. Next my laptop crashed. My self-proclaimed/experienced techy brother was able to get it back up and running. Whew! But not really. Again the laptop crashed. This time it was fatal to my hard drive. I had 5 photo sessions coming up and I knew that I needed a computer to edit them. I got on Amazon, ordered a new one and it was here in 3 days. (This is a plug for Amazon- they are great!) My cousin, brother, and friend at work were able to get my computer up and running in the nick of time! My brother even found all my old pictures on my external hard drive. That pit is now gone and the lesson was learned- back up my photos often!
You may have noticed a link to a new photography blog I created. I have been doing a few photo sessions of friends, so I decided to take it to the next level and create a blog just for my pictures. I don't know why, but the new blogger is weird. Some of my pictures don't show up and when they do they are all messed up on the page. I may need to delete it and start over. Anyway, check out my photo blog and if you want some pictures done, or know of anyone send them my way! (And I will back up their pictures!)
